Won't make any difference. you should be okay, The only thing it will effect is startup as the first number is for winter months, as the ambient temperature affects the weight/viscosity of the oil, and the second number is the weight/viscosity after the engine warms the oil up to operating temperature. The oil you put in there will basically be a little bit thinner than the recommended type. So after your bike warms up to operating temperatures, the two oils are the same. Jeep . How to Modify a 4.3 GM MotorThe 4.3 liter GM engine has been used for decades as a mid-sized V6 engine in practically every truck, SUV and van built under the General Motors banner. The engine is essentially a 350 cubic inch engine which has been relieved of two of its cylinders, and thus, many parts available for the 350 can be used for the 4.3. The easiest modification to undertake for the 4.3 engine, however, is simply the addition of more air into the engine. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need 3/8-inch drive socket set Screwdrivers Throttle body spacer Cold-air induction kit Step by Step : 1 Unbolt the stock air intake assembly from the top of the engine with a socket wrench. The air intake is a long, black tube which connects from a box on the core support near the radiator to the top of the engine. It attaches to the throttle body with a screw-on compression fitting, and has two sensors --- the intake air temperature sensor and the mass air flow sensor --- both of which simply unplug from the intake tube. 2 Unbolt the throttle body from the intake manifold using the socket set. The intake manifold is located at the center of the engine between the cylinder heads, and directly beneath the throttle body. Remove the four bolts which attach the throttle body to the manifold. You won't have to remove the throttle cable linkage, which is the banded steel cable located on the passenger side of the throttle body, or fuel line, which is the 3/8-inch black hose located on the driver's side of the throttle body, from the throttle body, so leave them in place. 3 Install the throttle body spacer between the intake manifold and the throttle body. The throttle body spacer is the same shape as the throttle body, and only fits onto the intake manifold one way. Install the bolts which secure the throttle body and throttle body spacer to the intake manifold by placing them through the holes located at the four corners of the throttle body and tightening them down with a socket wrench. 4 The cold air intake replaces the original air intake duct in the same position on the engine as the stock air intake was mounted. It consists of an elbow tube which connects to the throttle body with a compression band, tightened with a screwdriver. There is one hole in this elbow tube. The intake air temperature sensor which was removed from the original intake is the only sensor which fits into this hole. Install the intake air temperature sensor into this hole. 5 Install the mass air flow sensor into the end of the elbow tube securing it with a compression band, then install the straight intake tube onto the other side of the mass air flow sensor. Secure this tube with another compression band, then install the air filter, which is conical in shape, onto the end of this tube to complete the installation of the cold air intake. You may have to use a flashlight to see all the spaces and crevices in the engine compartment. 3 Replace the valve-cover gasket if you determine that oil is leaking from that area. The valve-cover gasket is one of the most likely culprits because it has to endure high temperatures and comes into contact with a lot of road debris. 4 Look for oil leaks in the pipelines under the hood. Leaks in pipes can be sealed with heat-resistant silicone. 5 Lift your Altima with a jack, lay flat on your back and slide underneath the car to inspect for leaks in the oil-pan gasket. A damaged gasket will have to be replaced. Tips & Warnings You should remove all the oil from your engine if you intend to repair leaks yourself. You can add new oil once you've successfully made the repair. Oil leaks in the engine block can be a symptom of a serious problem. Take your car to a mechanic to ensure your car is fixed quickly and correctly to prevent serious damage to the engine.
